Job purpose:

We are seeking an autonomous Data Scientist to join our data team to build and test production-ready machine learning models that optimize our marketing operations. You'll focus on developing bidding automation algorithms and revenue optimization solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to shape our data science practices while solving complex optimization challenges that can have a high impact on Stayforlong's business performance.

Main job responsibilities are:

• Build and deploy in production predictive and prescriptive models
• Continuously evaluate our algorithms: From offline to online experiments
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Machine Learning technologies and Data Science trends
• Mentor junior team members and help define Stayforlong data science/ MLOps best practices
• Your first project: Bidding optimisation, help us optimize our bids in GHA

What you will bring:

• Degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative fields).
• 2+ years experience as Data Scientist or ML engineer
• Proven experience building end to end predictive models. from problem definition to productionalization and maintenance. This includes:
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, Dagster)
• Experience using frameworks like Spark, Tensorflow and the already classic libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, etc.
• Experience evaluating your algorithms
• Production ML experience with cloud platforms.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of digital marketing concepts.
• Experience working with bidding automation algorithms.
• Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using coding assistants.
• AI Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions.
